Taita Taveta University College is one of university campuses in Kenya upgraded in 2011. We have however not shied away from taking huge responsibilities in increasing access to University Education to Kenyans. Currently the College has nearly 1300 students undertaking degree, diploma and certificate programs. Recently we started offering MBA programs in Voi Town. Since our emphasis is Engineering, Technology, ICT and Commerce we are working hard to ensure that appropriate infrastructure is put in place. Taita Taveta University College, in conjunction with Coast Development Authority (CDA) and Members of Parliament of Taita Taveta County organized a workshop to discuss the draft Mining and Minerals Bill. The one-day workshop was held on 19th August, 2011,at the Taita Taveta University College and was officially opened by the Principal, Prof. Hamadi Boga.
