About the Library
The Taita Taveta University College Library recognises importance of the user community and endeavours to provide services based on needs of our clients. The library has a ground floor and a first floor with a total area of 484m2. The library has a seating capacity of 300 users, office spaces, study carrels, a workroom and a computer room for accessing online information resources.
The primary goal of the library is to build a collection that is to meet information needs of all courses offered by the University College. The library has acquired information resources in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, Mathematics and Statistics, Communication Skills, and Mining and Mineral Processing Engineering. The library subscribes to online journals, e-books and databases. Digital collection in the library includes the e_Granary, the Essential Electronic Agriccultural Library (TEEAL) and CD-ROM databases.
